I am a doctoral researcher in Food Systems and Sustainability at Bangor University, exploring the social, economic, and environmental values of surplus food redistribution in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. My research combines qualitative methods, including participant observation and community engagement, to examine how food redistribution supports food access, sustainability, and food system transitions. I am particularly interested in food insecurity, governance, community resilience, and knowledge exchange between Global North and Global South contexts. I am also undertaking a doctoral placement with the Welsh Government Strategic Evidence Unit, exploring evidence management and research-policy engagement.
